THE FRENCH’S FOOD COMPANY IS PART OF McCORMICK & COMPANY. WE ARE DEDICATED TO IMPROVING OUR PLANET.
Safety & Compliance
100% of our manufacturing sites are certified with EHS management systems. At the end of 2013, 70% of our manufacturing sites were certified to the environmental standard ISO 14001 and 66% to the safety management system OHSAS 18001.
Human rights are an absolute and universal standard and we subscribe to the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Conventions on the Rights of the Child. In countries where we are present, we aim to support progress on human rights issues, particularly in areas where these may be at greater risk, in accordance with what reasonably can be expected from a commercial organization.
We have established a Global Manufacturing Standard for Responsible Production (GMS) policy and program which we launched in 2004. It includes 7 fundamental principles based on International Labor Organization (ILO) and other widely accepted standards. The principles include no child labor or forced labor, freedom of association, health, safety and environmental protection. Each of our manufacturing sites continues to aim for 100% compliance with the GMS.
In support of Autism Speaks, French’s turned our iconic yellow mustard bottle blue, the signature color of Autism Awareness. The limited-edition blue bottle successfully raised awareness and funds to help Autism Speaks promote solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
French’s has partnered with Feeding America to help in the fight to end hunger. Feeding America is a nationwide network of foodbanks and the leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Through the sales of specially marked ketchup and mustard bottles, French’s has donated 20 million meals.
OPERATION BBQ RELIEF
Cattlemen’s BBQ Sauce is proud to partner with Operation BBQ Relief in their mission to provide compassion and hot BBQ meals to displaced residents and emergency personnel during times of natural and other disasters. Since 2011, Operation BBQ Relief has served 1.5 million meals in 22 states.
