SWEET & SOUR CABBAGE

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. Savoy cabbage, fine shred
  • 1 lb. White cabbage, fine shred
  • 1 lb. Red cabbage, fine shred
  • 3/4 cup Peanut oil, divided
  • 3 each Onions, medium sized, cut into fine slivers
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 cup CATTLEMEN'S® Gold® Barbecue Sauce

Directions:

  • 1. Toss cabbage mix together; set aside.
  • 2. In a large pot, heat half the oil, then add onions, and sauté until light brown.
  • 3. Add remaining oil, then cabbage; cook until cabbage is done, yet firm. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then fold in barbecue sauce. Mix well and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Reserve for service.
