SMOKY RED BEANS AND BBQ RICE

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. Vegetable oil, hot
  • 6 oz. Onions, chopped
  • 6 oz. Green bell peppers, chopped
  • 3 oz. Celery, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1 #10 can Kidney beans, canned , drained
  • 1 1/2 lbs. Green Onions, chopped
  • 3/4 cup Parsley, chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups CATTLEMEN'S® Smoky Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups Chicken Stock
  • 3/4 cup FRANK'S® RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce

Directions:

  • 2. Add beans, green onions, parsley, BBQ sauce, stock and hot sauce to saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Keep warm. Serve with BBQ Rice.
  • 1. Combine oil, onions, peppers, celery, and garlic in a large saucepan. Saute over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
