SMOKY & SWEET PORK CHOPS

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 gal. CATTLEMEN'S® Smoky Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 cup Bourbon
  • 1 cup Maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
  • 24 each Pork chops, ready-to-cook, 5 oz.
  • 1 each Pineapple, fresh, chopped
  • 1 qt. CATTLEMEN'S® Kentucky Sweet & Bold Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 cup Red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Tequila
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tsp. Jalapeño pepper, chopped

Directions:

  • 1. To make the marinade for the pork combine, Texas BBQ sauce, bourbon, syrup and Worcestershire in large bowl; mix thoroughly.
  • 5. To make the salsa, combine pineapple, Kentucky BBQ, red onion, red pepper, tequila, brown sugar, parsley, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and jalapenos in bowl; mix thoroughly. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill. Hold for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • 2. Place pork chops in hotel pan. Pour marinade over pork chops. Cover and marinate under refrigeration for 2 to 3 hours. Remove chops from marinade, cover and place under refrigeration until ready to grill. <br>3. Transfer marinade to saucepan. Simmer for 40 minutes or until reduced by 1/4. Remove from heat; set aside. <br>4. Grill pork chops until internal temperature reaches 155°F. Then brush with cooked marinade. Serve pork chops with salsa on the side for dipping.
