ITALIAN SAUSAGE PIZZA CALZONE

Ingredients:

1 cup Italian sausage, cooked, crumbled

1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cup Pizza sauce, commercially prepared

2 tbsp. FRANK'S® RedHot® Buffalo Wings Sauce

2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated

12 oz. Pizza dough, prepared

as needed FRANK'S® RedHot® Buffalo Wings Sauce

Directions:

2. Divide dough into two 6-oz. portions. Roll out each portion into an 8-inch circle. To assemble each calzone, portion 3/4 cup filling in center of dough. Fold outer edge of dough over filling, forming a large turnover, and seal edges with fork tines. Brush each calzone evenly with wing sauce. Make several small slits in top of each calzone to allow steam to escape.

3. Bake in preheated conventional oven at 450 °F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Serve warm.

1. To make the calzone filling combine sausage, mozzarella, pizza sauce, RedHot and Parmesan in a large bowl; mix well. Reserve.
