Servings: 2 calzones


  • 1 cup Italian sausage, cooked, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Pizza sauce, commercially prepared
  • 2 tbsp. FRANK'S® RedHot® Buffalo Wings Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 12 oz. Pizza dough, prepared
  • as needed FRANK'S® RedHot® Buffalo Wings Sauce


  • 2. Divide dough into two 6-oz. portions. Roll out each portion into an 8-inch circle. To assemble each calzone, portion 3/4 cup filling in center of dough. Fold outer edge of dough over filling, forming a large turnover, and seal edges with fork tines. Brush each calzone evenly with wing sauce. Make several small slits in top of each calzone to allow steam to escape.
  • 3. Bake in preheated conventional oven at 450 °F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Serve warm.
  • 1. To make the calzone filling combine sausage, mozzarella, pizza sauce, RedHot and Parmesan in a large bowl; mix well. Reserve.
