GRILLED ROMAINE WITH SMOKED BACON, APPLE AND SPICY GORGONZOLA DRESSING

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Ranch dressing
  • 1 cup Crumbled gorgonzola
  • 1/4 cup FRANK'S® REDHOT® Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce
  • 12 each Romaine hearts
  • as needed Olive oil
  • as needed Salt and pepper
  • 60 each Apples slices
  • 3 cups cooked diced bacon

Directions:

  • 1. To make the salad dressing combine ranch dressing, gorgonzola and Hot Buffalo sauce. Refrigerate until needed.
  • 2. To make each salad halve one romaine heart lengthwise, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place cut side down on grill and cook halves until grill marks appear and leaves are slightly singed. Arrange on plate with apple slices and bacon pieces. Drizzle with 1/4 cup dressing.
