COWBOY BAKED BEANS

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. Bacon, cut in pieces
  • 4 oz. Onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups CATTLEMEN'S® Kansas City Classic Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Molasses
  • 2 tsp. FRANK'S® RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 3 lbs. Red kidney beans, canned, drained

Directions:

  • 1. Fry bacon in skillet over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp. Remove from skillet; drain on absorbent towels.
  • 2. Fry onion in bacon drippings for 3 to 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from skillet.
  • 4. Stir mixture into beans. Bake, uncovered, in conventional oven at 350°F for 1 hour.
  • 3. Combine BBQ sauce, molasses, RedHot and salt in bowl. Add bacon and onion; mix well.
