BRISKET & BLACK BEAN CHILI

Ingredients:

  • as needed Vegetable oil
  • 1 qt. Onions, diced
  • 1 qt. Green bell peppers, diced
  • 1/3 cup Garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. Chili powder
  • 4 tsp. Cumin powder
  • 6 cups Black beans, canned, drained
  • 2 qt. Water
  • 2 1/2 cups Tomatoes, chopped, fresh or canned
  • 2 qts. Brisket, cooked, diced
  • 1/4 cup FRANK'S® REDHOT® Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro, fresh, chopped

Directions:

  • 1. Heat oil and saute onions, peppers and garlic until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add spices and toast.
  • 2. Add beans, water, tomatoes and stir well. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add brisket and simmer for 15 more minutes. Add Hot Buffalo sauce and cilantro. Hold hot for service.
