BEEF AND BASIL SPRING ROLLS

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. Beef, top round, cut into julienne type slice
  • 1 1/2 cups FRANK'S® RedHot® Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 12 pieces Rice paper
  • 24 each Green leaf Lettuce leaves
  • 3 cups Carrot julienne
  • 3 cups Cucumber julienne
  • 3 cups Bean sprouts
  • 24 each Basil leaves
  • 48 each Picked cilantro leaves

Directions:

  • 1. Marinate beef in sweet chili sauce, refrigerated, 3 hours to overnight. Stir fry and let cool before building each roll
  • 2. To make each roll soak a piece of rice paper in hot water for about 15 seconds, place on a damp tea towel and blot paper slightly. Starting at one end of the paper, leaving about a 1/4 inch margin from the edges spread 2 pieces of lettuce over paper and top with 1/4 cup carrot, about 1 oz. cooked beef, 1/4 cup cucumber, 1/4 cup sprouts, 2 basil leaves and 4 cilantro leaves. Fold the closest edge of the paper over the filling, then fold in the sides and continue rolling.
